Inquiry Update: Movie Making Week 1

During week 1, the movie making group engaged in a wide variety of learning to prepare for the shooting of the animation.

Children researched words in the dictionary for the illustrations in the encyclopaedia.

 We constructed and painted the scenery for the encyclopaedia scenes.

We completed some of the characters in the scene...

and the eyes and mouth for the main characters

Book covers for the characters had to be made.

Here, the children are designing the possible book covers for the 4 main characters.

We have been granted permission to film within the media studio in the school as soon as we are ready. We also have the deadline of Friday 11th December when we will be presenting the movie at assembly (hopefully!!!) We still require parental help during inquiry times and workshops on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Please talk to Tomo for any information.
