Today Otto's dad, Ben, came to our neighbourhood to talk about his work. He is a graphic designer and has been involved in a variety of very interesting projects.
Ben came along to talk about what he does and to help us bring to life the characters (Max Winston, Book Man, Hipster the tiny flying whale and Spludge the pig) for our whole neighbourhood story to life.Ben used the children's drawings and the shapes they created to develop each character.
The children were very pleased with the drawings.
We went back to the drawing board in our groups to discuss and give feedback to Ben of any changes we want to include.
We were so happy that Ben helped us move our projects along.

The Movie Project so far!
We have been working on conceptual drawings, story writing and story boarding. The next stage of the project will include setting designs and creating 3D characters.
