1TH: Bus leaves at 9.20am, swimming session begins at 9.50am and returns to school at 11am

1TS & 1SV: Bus leaves at 10.15am, swimming session begins at 10.45am and returns to school at 12.05am

1NB: Bus leaves at 11.25am, swimming session begins at 11.55am and returns to school at 1.05am

Please remember to pack your child's bathers, towel, goggles and a bag to put wet clothes. It would be great if your could discuss how to keep belongings safe (i.e. putting socks inside shoes, and keeping clothing in a bag).

If you're interested in helping out during swimming for one or more days please let one of the neighbourhood teachers know, we welcome parent help!

National Science Week - 15th - 23rd August

Princes Hill Primary School is participating in National Science Week 2015, 15th – 23^rd August, as a way of further promoting science in our school. Science activities will be scheduled to run in each neighbourhood next week. We want to encourage children to try more science at home and at school.

We also encourage parents who are interested in science or work in a field of science to come along and talk to the children about the work they do.  Please contact your child’s teachers to book in a time to organize a talk, demonstration or a hands-on activity that the children can participate in.

Morning Beginnings

The children have been very settled in the mornings, starting off the day with morning activities in Art, Maths, Literacy and Science.  Next week new morning activities will be introduced, starting off in the original rooms.

Blue Day

Thank you to all the children who dressed up today!

This Friday (7th August) is BLUE DAY!

Come to school dressed in blue and support UNICEF.UNICEF is the United Nations Children's Fund. It works in 190 countries and territories with a focus on improving the lives of the most disadvantaged and excluded children. 

Gold coin donations can be handed to your home group teacher in the morning.

Prizes will be awarded to the bluest person in each Neighbourhood.
