Card Trading

We have noticed that many children are bringing to school Football trading cards and albums. We encourage children to bring their interests to school however we wish to remind everyone that trading cards at school has been banned.  Please continue to have fun and enjoy looking at your collection together at school.

Locker Clean Up

Our lockers are looking a little crowded at the moment and they need to be nice and clean at the end of term.  We encourage the children to bring to school a plastic bag to take home any extra work or clothes that may be learking in the back of their locker.  There will be a locker clean out and inspection on Wednesday afternoon. (Kerri and Anne will be inspecting our lockers on Friday).

Visual Art News- Term 3

In term 3 all students will be exploring the work of Australian artist John Wolseley. The NGV Australia is currently showing a wonderful exhibition of Wolseley's work and it would fantastic if students are able to visit the exhibition in the holidays so they are familiar with his work and are able to view it close up. (The intricacies of his line work  and mark making do get lost in photographs and reproductions.)
 Many thanks,
Hannah Rother-Gelder
Visual Art teacher

Action Required - Morning Drop Off.

A quick reminder that when dropping your child off in the morning please enter through the front door of the red brick building. All neighbourhoods have specific entry points to ensure a consistent flow of students through each building. There have been some concerns of year 1 students entering through the prep courtyard and interrupting prep routines.Thank you for your continued support.

Pirate day Friday

Friday the 19th of June is pirate day Friday. We would like everybody to dress up as a pirate and bring in a gold coin donation even parents and teachers if they want to. Pirate day Friday raises awareness and money for childhood brain cancer research. We chose to support pirate day Friday because more children die in Australia from childhood brain cancer than any other disease. On Friday all students will bring in a gold coin donation and then will get a white-eye patch to decorate on the day. We hope to see you all dressed up as pirates this Friday.
